Head Instructor: Bryan Edge

Biography: 

    I am a Brazilian Top Team (BTT) brown belt under Fabio Holanda. I started studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 1998 under Black Belt Instructor Jeff "The Inferno" Joslin.  I spent 8 years and attained my purple belt as a member of team Joslin. In 2009 I started to learn from the world class instructor and founder of BTT Canada, Fabio Holanda.  I have extensive Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition experience, as well as training from some of the best instructors in the world (Machado Brothers, Erik Paulsin, Marcio Simas). 

I have competed all over North American from the Pan American Games to the Copa Pacifica tournament in California.  I have been show-cased in 2 Ontario Submission Wrestling Super fights.  I am the 2009 Absolute Brown Belt Silver Medalist in the Ontario Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Open and 2009 Submission X Super Fight winner. Over the past few years I have been training and fighting in Mixed Martial Arts fights across the country and currently hold a 3-1 MMA record. My latest fight was replayed on the Score (Hardcore Championship Fighting) and The Fight Network. I also hold a 6-0 record in Amature Boxing under the Ontario Boxing Association Banner and I am a 2010 Golden Gloves Champion (senior Open Class).
 
Since 2004 I have been instructing and coaching Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I am also a certified personal trainer (both advanced and master), certified speed, agility and quickness instructor, and level 1 boxing certified.
